Accident – Death – Obituary News : Five individuals, including a young child, tragically lost their lives in a devastating collision between a Bolero jeep and a motorcycle in the town of Amethi on Sunday morning. Additionally, four others, including three minors, sustained injuries in the incident, as confirmed by senior police officials in Lucknow.
The deceased victims have been identified as Durgesh Upadhyaya, his sister Vandana Pathak, her four-year-old son Rudra Pathak, Shahnoor (40) wife of Jageer Khan, and Shabnam (35) wife of Dilshad. It is heart-wrenching to note that three of the deceased individuals, Durgesh Upadhyaya, Vandana Pathak, and Rudra Pathak, were all members of the same family.
The injured parties have been identified as Ayan (11) son of Shabnam, Akbar (40), Arshad (6) son of Akbar, and Arman (10) son of Rafiq, Akbar’s brother. They are currently receiving medical treatment for their injuries.
The tragic incident occurred near Jamo Bhadar crossing under the jurisdiction of Munshiganj police station. Akbar, a resident of Islamganj, Sultanpur, was en route to attend a funeral of a relative with his family members in the Bolero jeep when the collision took place. The jeep initially collided with the Bullet motorcycle driven by Durgesh Upadhyaya, leading to a subsequent collision with a roadside tree after losing control.
Durgesh Upadhyaya, Vandana Pathak, Shahnoor, and Shabnam unfortunately lost their lives at the scene of the accident, while young Rudra passed away during treatment at a Sultanpur hospital. The injured individuals are currently receiving necessary medical attention at a local hospital.
