According to the police report, Manikandan, along with his friends Muthuraj, 27, and Maniraj, 34, had visited Courtallam on Saturday night. After enjoying a refreshing bath at the waterfalls, they began their journey back home around 1 a.m. on Sunday. Unfortunately, as they approached Malaikovil Pass, their car collided with a stationary vehicle, resulting in a fatal outcome for Manikandan.
Tragically, Manikandan lost his life on the spot, while his friends sustained injuries and were immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
