Ramzan : “Karachi Security Guard Arrested for Killing Boy”

KARACHI: The local authorities in Karachi have apprehended a security guard who has been accused of fatally shooting a young scavenger boy in the North Karachi area, as reported by ARY News on Sunday.

The tragic incident took place when the security guard, employed by a private company, opened fire on the young scavenger boy, causing severe injuries that eventually led to the boy’s untimely demise at a hospital on Friday.

Following the shooting, the security guard managed to flee from the scene, triggering a search operation by the police.

However, the law enforcement officials successfully apprehended the suspect, identified as Ramzan, after a First Information Report (FIR) was filed by the father of the deceased 16-year-old, Abdul Samad, at the Sir Syed police station.

According to police sources, Ramzan, the arrested security guard, is an employee of a private security firm, and his supervisor is already in police custody for further investigation.

Prior to this incident, another distressing event occurred where a security guard fatally shot a scavenger boy in Karachi.

Initial reports suggest that the altercation between the boy and the security guard, Ramzan, escalated in the North Karachi area, leading to the fatal gunshot wound to the child’s abdomen, after which the guard fled the scene with the weapon.
