Accident – Death – Obituary News :
Ten passengers were injured when a van overturned and skidded into a ditch along Bahadurpur road in Zangipur area within the limits of Dilmurad police station near Jacobabad on Saturday. The incident occurred due to the driver losing control of the vehicle at high speed.
Witnesses at the scene reported that people nearby rushed to rescue the trapped passengers inside the van. With the assistance of the area police, the injured individuals were promptly shifted to Jacobabad Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
Among the injured were Nabi Bakhsh Khoso, Zaheer Ahmed Mirani, Faiq Ali, Lal Baig, Ms Gulan, Ms Hasina, Ms Ameeran, and Ms Hidayatan Banglani, according to police officials. While most of the injured individuals were reported to be in stable condition, Zaheer Mirani’s critical state necessitated his referral to a major hospital in an adjacent district.
Youth Fatally Shot in Abdul Majeed Jakhrani Village
In a separate incident in Abdul Majeed Jakhrani village near Jacobabad, unidentified armed individuals shot and killed 18-year-old Ghous Bakhsh Jakhrani before fleeing the scene by firing shots in the air on Saturday.
Following the tragic event, the victim’s family, along with relatives and villagers, alerted the authorities and called for police intervention. Upon arrival, the police collected details of the incident and transferred the deceased’s body to the civil hospital for post mortem examination.
Speaking to the media, Dhani Bakhsh Jakhrani, the victim’s brother, accused Khadim Hussain Jakhrani and others of perpetrating the heinous crime. He appealed to Jacobabad SSP Syed Saleem Shah to ensure justice for the bereaved family by apprehending the perpetrators responsible for his brother’s untimely demise.
Following the completion of medico-legal formalities, the body was released to the deceased’s heirs. As of now, no suspects have been arrested, and no formal case has been registered at the local police station.
