JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – In a tragic turn of events, a suspect has been taken into custody in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred in Jackson.
According to reports from the Jackson Police Department, the investigation began on May 31 after the body of 38-year-old Frank Bozeman III was discovered in his home on Arbor Vista Boulevard. Bozeman had been fatally shot, leading authorities to launch a thorough investigation into the incident.
Following intensive efforts by law enforcement officials, Stephen Barber, aged 40, was identified as the prime suspect in the murder case. He was subsequently placed on the wanted list for his alleged involvement in the heinous crime.
On a recent Saturday, the JPD ACTION Team successfully apprehended Barber. He is now facing charges of murder and aggravated assault in relation to the tragic death of Frank Bozeman III.
