In a tragic incident on Friday night, a man lost his life and another sustained injuries in a shooting in New Haven, Connecticut, as reported by authorities.

Details of the Incident

New Haven police responded to a ShotSpotter alert on Clover Place, situated between Truman Street and Washington Avenue, just before 11:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 47-year-old man from New Haven with a gunshot wound. The victim was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Shortly after this incident, a second victim, identified as a 20-year-old man from New Haven, arrived at the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his foot. He informed the police that he was also involved in the shooting on Clover Place.
