The Thatta police in Sindh have achieved a major breakthrough by successfully recovering a businessman who was allegedly kidnapped from Karachi’s Sachal area. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hyderabad confirmed the successful operation, stating that the kidnapped man was found in the Keenjhar area of Thatta District.
Arrest of Kidnappers
During the operation, two individuals involved in the kidnapping of the businessman were apprehended. The arrested suspects, identified as Najeeb Sanjrani and Manzoor Solangi, hail from Shikarpur and Larkana respectively. It was revealed that they were transporting the abducted businessman and his driver to a safe location when they were intercepted by the police.
Recent Kidnapping Cases
This successful recovery comes on the heels of another recent kidnapping case in Karachi. Last month, two young girls aged 14 and 12, who had been abducted from Rawalpindi seven months ago, were rescued in Karachi. The girls, who are cousins, were taken from Rawalpindi’s Ghaziabad area.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Syed Asad Raza provided details of the rescue operation, stating that one of the girls was found in the Defence area of Karachi on May 14, while the other was discovered in a shelter home. The 14-year-old girl was brought to the police station by a concerned housemaid who found her on the street.
Investigation and Recovery
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the girls had been transported to Karachi after their abduction in Rawalpindi. The case of their kidnapping had been registered seven months prior in Rawalpindi, highlighting the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies in tracing and recovering abducted individuals.
These successful recovery operations demonstrate the dedication and effectiveness of the police force in Sindh in combating crime and ensuring the safety of citizens.
