The incident unfolded around 12:30 PM in the 900 Block of Mineola Avenue, Salisbury, within Wicomico County. The victim, identified as 36-year-old Brookes Lamar Dashiell, tragically lost his life.

Upon receiving a report of a shooting, deputies rushed to the scene and discovered Dashiell seated in the driver’s side of his vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was swiftly taken to Tidal Health Emergency Room, where, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

The Criminal Investigation Division has now assumed control of the case and is working diligently to gather all pertinent information.
