Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A 37-year-old man, identified as Sean Eric Teer, found himself in hot water after attempting to use counterfeit money at a popular fast food joint in Evansville. The incident occurred at Zesto’s on Franklin Street, where Teer allegedly tried to pay for his meal with a fake $100 bill.

According to reports, the restaurant manager became suspicious when the bill didn’t feel authentic. After Teer had already received his food, the cashier noticed the words “MOVIE PROP USE ONLY” printed on the bill, leading to the discovery of the counterfeit currency.

Upon further investigation, police officers obtained consent to search Teer’s belongings and found a stash of counterfeit $100 bills in a small blue bag inside his backpack. Initially claiming to have found the money, Teer later changed his story and stated that it had been given to him.

In a bizarre twist, Teer informed officers that he was legally blind and struggled to read from left to right or right to left. However, this did not excuse his actions, as he was also found in possession of a glass pipe used for methamphetamine.

Prior to the Zesto’s incident, Teer had attempted to use another counterfeit $100 bill at Posh on Main, where he was unsuccessful. However, he did manage to pass off a fake $20 bill at the same establishment, receiving change in return.

As a result of his actions, Sean Eric Teer was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond. He now faces charges of Fraud, Forgery, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
