Accident – Death – Obituary News : An investigation conducted by several local law enforcement agencies led to the apprehension of two individuals at a hotel in Bristol County.

In the late hours of Tuesday evening, the Seekonk Police Patrol Division, Seekonk Police Narcotics Unit, Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force, and the DEA collaborated to execute a search warrant at a hotel in Seekonk. The primary target of the investigation was identified as 35-year-old Jonathan Boutelle from Pawtucket, RI. Upon the execution of the search warrant, Boutelle was discovered inside the room along with several other individuals.

Allegedly, Boutelle was found to be in possession of a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and a significant amount of cash. Further inspection of the room unveiled multiple cell phones, weighing scales, small bags, and additional drug paraphernalia suggestive of narcotics distribution. Additionally, a loaded Smith and Wesson .38 Special revolver was also confiscated from the room.

The hotel room was registered under the name of Boutelle’s girlfriend, identified as 37-year-old Veronica Abreu from Central Falls, RI. Both individuals were taken into custody as a consequence of the investigation, while the other individuals present in the room were released.

Boutelle faces a series of charges including Trafficking a Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Trafficking a Class A Substance (Heroin), Trafficking a Class B Substance (Cocaine), Conspiracy to commit a felony, Carrying a loaded Firearm without License, Possession/Carrying a firearm without an LTC, and Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Felony.

On the other hand, Abreu is charged with Carrying a loaded Firearm without License and Conspiracy to commit a felony.

Following their arrest, both suspects were arraigned at Taunton District Court on Wednesday and are currently being detained in custody..
