LOS ANGELES, CA — A dramatic police chase on the San Diego (405) Freeway took a bizarre turn on Wednesday when a female suspect climbed through the sunroof of her SUV and proceeded to strike nude poses on a busy stretch of freeway in Torrance.
Footage from several Los Angeles media outlets captured the surreal scene of countless cars slowing down as they drove past the woman standing nude on top of her SUV in the fast lane. With her hands on her hips, she defiantly faced California Highway Patrol officers.
High-Speed Chase
The incident unfolded around 7:20 p.m. in northeast Torrance following a brief chase that reached speeds of up to 95 miles per hour. The California Highway Patrol had initially attempted to pull over the woman for driving in the emergency lane on the southbound side of the freeway north of Culver Boulevard. Instead, she fled, leading to the high-speed pursuit.
Suspect identified
The woman involved has been identified as 35-year-old Trayanna Enriquez, as reported by FOX11. Following a physical altercation with arresting officers, she was taken into custody on suspicion of felony reckless evading, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer.
