In a tragic turn of events, Christel Lacinak is coming to terms with the devastating outcome of the search for her beloved son, Brandon.

During the demolition of a house on Salem Avenue in Dayton, workers made a grim discovery on Monday – the badly decomposed remains of a human. The condition of the remains was so severe that it was impossible to determine the gender of the individual.

The house, located in close proximity to the Gem City Market, had been ravaged by a fire in January. Despite the lack of concrete evidence, Christel had a sinking feeling that she would never see her son alive again.

Tragically, the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed on Thursday that the remains belonged to 31-year-old Brandon Lacinak.

Expressing a mix of gratitude and sorrow, Christel remarked, “I’m thankful for the closure provided by the authorities after a painstaking four-month search.”
