Accident – Death – Obituary News :

On a sunny day at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, a 40-year-old man from Central Valley found himself in a predicament he never saw coming. Kirill Neledva, a resident of Ceres, had traveled to the boardwalk with the intention of meeting a 13-year-old girl for sexual purposes. Little did he know, there was no underage girl waiting for him, only law enforcement officers ready to apprehend him.

Neledva fell into a trap set up by online child predator hunters who posed as a young girl to lure him in. The group, known as “Child Safety Soldiers,” had been in communication with Neledva for over three months, using various tactics to gain his trust. They even went as far as sending fake voice recordings to mimic a young girl.

When Neledva arrived at the boardwalk and sat on a bench outside the arcade, expecting to meet the girl, he was instead met with the presence of the Child Safety Soldiers. The founder of the group, Shane Coyle, described Neledva’s reaction as one of disbelief when they revealed their true identities and made a citizen’s arrest.

Throughout their interactions with Neledva, the online crime fighters gathered evidence of his explicit intentions. Neledva sent numerous sexually suggestive text messages and explicit videos to the supposed 13-year-old girl. Despite the potential defence of entrapment, law enforcement officials emphasized the clarity of Neledva’s intentions and the strength of the case built against him.

Following his arrest, Neledva was arraigned on multiple charges, including distributing lewd material to a minor, soliciting sex, and communicating with a minor for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts. He is currently being held in custody on a $50,000 bail.

The Santa Cruz police department executed a search warrant at Neledva’s residence in Central Valley, seizing electronic devices to investigate the possibility of him targeting other minors. This arrest is just one of over 600 made with the assistance of online crimefighters like the Child Safety Soldiers.

Coyle highlighted the importance of exposing and bringing child predators to justice, stating that their work aims to raise awareness among parents and the public about the lurking dangers. By shining a light on the darkness where predators hide, they strive to ensure the safety of children and hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.
