The autopsy of the woman, identified as Anita Kumari (33), indicated that the cause of death was asphyxiation due to hanging. An officer involved in the investigation stated that a ligature mark was found on her neck, indicating that the force causing the constriction was derived from the gravitational pull of her body weight.
