According to the Prince William police department:

The authorities have made an arrest in relation to the fatal shooting that took place in the 3700 block of Masthead Trl. in Triangle (22172) on the evening of June 3. Through their investigation, detectives have established that the suspect fired shots at a group of five males, which included the four victims and a fifth male who fortunately escaped unharmed. Further examination has revealed that the individuals involved were acquainted with one another and that the incident may have originated from a prior altercation and ongoing feud between the parties. The 17-year-old male suspect has been apprehended and is currently in custody. The investigation remains ongoing as detectives strive to identify any additional individuals who may have been involved in the tragic shooting.
