Victim identified

The deceased victim has been identified as Victor Hugo Leon, aged 42, from San Jacinto. Reports indicate that Leon was a dedicated husband and father of four children. His wife, Griselda Zepeda, shared with KTLA that they had been married for 13 years.

Leon, who worked at a warehouse in Moreno Valley, failed to return home as expected on Monday morning, causing Zepeda to grow concerned. She described her late husband as a kind-hearted individual who always put his family first, despite his stern exterior.

Reflecting on the loss, Zepeda remarked, “He was a very lovable person. He leaves us very broken. He had that mean face, but he was such a sweetheart, always doing his best for his family.”
