Accident – Death – Obituary News :
On Tuesday, June 4, a devastating crash on I-75 North in Tift County, Georgia, claimed the lives of four individuals. The incident occurred around 6:39 p.m. and prompted a swift response from Georgia State Patrol (GSP) troopers and MCCD officers.
The crash took place near mile marker 69 and tragically resulted in the deaths of multiple people, as confirmed by GSP officials. An initial investigation revealed that a vehicle was travelling in the center lane of the interstate, while a tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder. The driver of the vehicle veered out of their lane, colliding with the back of the tractor-trailer before coming to a halt.
Regrettably, the driver and three passengers succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while another passenger was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Sadly, the fifth individual also passed away as a result of their injuries. As of now, only one passenger has been identified as 22-year-old Serigne Mbodji from Atlanta. Efforts are underway to identify the remaining victims, and their next of kin have yet to be notified.
