Accident – Death – Obituary News : California City Police officers are currently on the lookout for a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that took place at a local McDonald’s establishment. The incident occurred at the McDonald’s located at 9628 California City Blvd, where officers responded to a call regarding shots fired and a possible victim on May 29th around 12:30 p.m.
Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered a man identified as Maurice Bailey, aged 48, lying on the floor inside the restaurant with a gunshot wound to his head. Immediate life-saving measures were initiated by the officers until paramedics from the California City Fire Department and Hall Ambulance arrived. Bailey was then rushed to Antelope Valley Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Following a thorough investigation that included reviewing surveillance footage and gathering witness statements, the suspect responsible for the shooting was identified as 26-year-old Cameron Rashad Hill. An arrest warrant has been issued for Hill, and law enforcement agencies are currently working together to locate him. It is believed that Hill is still in the Antelope Valley area and may be armed and dangerous, potentially attempting to evade capture.
