Accident – Death – Obituary News : Two individuals from Fulton County have been apprehended following an investigation that revealed their involvement in stealing items from storage units in the area. Floyd Galbraith, aged 46, and Kendall Tuller, aged 60, were identified as the culprits in the theft case.

The incident came to light on May 21 when the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft at a storage facility located on U.S. Highway 62 East in Salem. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement officers were shown video footage by the owner of the storage units, which captured the entire theft act.

The surveillance video depicted Galbraith and Tuller arriving at the property in a Ford Ranger that displayed visible damage to its front end. Subsequently, both individuals unloaded a cement mixer, which was placed in front of the building for sale. Following this, Tuller manoeuvred the truck towards a small bumper-pull trailer with a welder attached to it, and the duo absconded from the premises with the stolen goods.

It was revealed that the welder had recently been marked as sold by the owner. Upon further investigation, Galbraith’s parole officer confirmed that he was overdue for a check-in. When Galbraith eventually showed up at the officer’s office, deputies noticed the same Ford Ranger in the parking lot matching the one seen in the surveillance footage. Tuller was found seated in the driver’s position, prompting the authorities to take both individuals into custody.

During the interrogation process, Galbraith claimed that he believed the items were discarded leftovers from a yard sale and assumed they were free to take. He mentioned that the items were situated at a residence in Glencoe. Although the trailer and welder were successfully recovered by the deputies, the cement mixer remained untraceable.

Galbraith and Tuller have since been incarcerated at the Fulton County Detention Center, where they are facing a felony charge for property theft. While Galbraith is currently detained on a $5,000 bond, Tuller has been released on the same amount of bond.

This incident underscores the importance of vigilance and prompt action in preventing criminal activities such as theft. Authorities urge the public to report any suspicious behaviour or incidents to ensure the safety and security of the community..
