STONECREST, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The partner of a woman who was discovered shot to death in a vehicle in DeKalb County is now facing murder charges, as per the DeKalb County Police Department.
Kjiar Prather, aged 30, has been charged in connection with the tragic demise of 56-year-old Sabrina Carson, whose life was cut short on May 24.
Details of the Incident
DeKalb County police disclosed that Carson’s lifeless body was found on May 24 in the 8400 block of Mall Parkway in Stonecrest. The authorities stumbled upon the car she was driving, which had veered off the road and collided with a light pole and power box in front of a Walmart store.
Suspect in Custody
Prather, who has been identified as the deceased woman’s partner, was apprehended by law enforcement officials on Sunday following an extensive investigation into Carson’s untimely death.
