Kylen Frantrell Simmons : Man Arrested After Pursuit in Berkeley County

A 25-year-old man, Kylen Frantrell Simmons, is facing charges after deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Monday night. Simmons is charged with failure to stop for blue lights and sirens, simple possession of marijuana, and pointing and presenting a firearm.

The incident took place on North Main Street and College Park Road, where deputies observed a vehicle swerving erratically. Upon attempting to pull the driver over, identified as Simmons, he failed to stop, leading to a pursuit, as reported by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office on social media.

Simmons eventually crashed the vehicle near South Live Oak and Mountain Pine Streets and attempted to flee the scene. Subsequently, he allegedly brandished a firearm upon being apprehended by deputies and was found in possession of narcotics.

Following the events, Simmons was taken into custody and booked at the Berkeley County Detention Center, where he is being held on a bond of £25,615.
