WASHINGTON – Authorities in Washington, D.C. have recently shared images of a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in the Northwest area of the city last week.
The individual in question was caught on surveillance footage at approximately midnight on Wednesday, May 29, just moments before a male victim was gunned down in the vicinity of Hanover Place, NW.
The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Maurice Downing, a resident of the Northwest neighbourhood.
Law enforcement officers rushed to the scene following reports of the shooting, but unfortunately, Downing had already succumbed to his injuries by the time they arrived.
