The Pennsylvania State Police in Uniontown are seeking assistance from the public in identifying an unknown victim from a tragic crash that occurred 38 years ago. The fatal incident took place along Pa. 119 in Springhill Township, Fayette County, Pa., in the early hours of May 2, 1986.

According to the information provided by the police, the victim, a woman, lost her life in a single-vehicle tractor-trailer crash. The truck driver, who was identified as a resident of Eastanolle, Ga., also perished in the accident.

Investigators believe that the unidentified woman was aged between 30-45 years old. She had brown eyes, medium-length brown hair, stood at 5’4” tall, weighed 170 pounds, and had a husky build.

As per the case information from the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, the woman was dressed in jeans, a T-shirt button shirt, and white sneakers. She was found with a thin gold chain, a brass keychain engraved with the words “hot and horny,” keys, and two miniature locks resembling handcuffs. Additionally, a pack of Marlboro cigarettes and $333 in cash were discovered near her body.

The unidentified woman is believed to have been a passenger in the truck. She had no identification on her and was unknown to the truck driver’s family. Police suspect that she may have been a hitchhiker who received a ride from the driver.

The crash occurred approximately 15 miles south of Uniontown, Pa., just north of the West Virginia border. The truck driver was supposed to be travelling from Sparrows Point, Md. (near Baltimore), to Richmond, Ky. However, the woman was not with him when he departed from Sparrows Point, and he had no planned stops on his journey. It remains a mystery as to why he was in Fayette County.
