Subsequently, a second suspect, Nicholas Hendrickson, was arrested in November and charged with concealing the death of another, false statements, hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal, and tampering with evidence.

Authorities had been on the lookout for a third suspect, 29-year-old Steven Oboite, who was recently apprehended by game wardens on June 1. Oboite was stopped while operating a jet ski in a no-wake zone on Lake Allatoona and attempted to evade law enforcement but was eventually captured. He was found to have several active felony warrants out of Atlanta and was charged with boating under the influence, willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer, violation of rules of the road for boat traffic, and providing false information to authorities.
