LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – A man has been taken into custody after allegedly making violent threats towards a woman in Laredo.
The incident took place at a store located at the 800 block of Santa Ursula, where an employee reported that a man, identified as 27-year-old Pablo Daniel Esquivel, was overheard threatening to harm a woman by running her over with a car before fleeing the scene on foot.
Law enforcement officers managed to locate Esquivel at the intersection of Matamoros and San Bernardo. It was revealed that he had allegedly followed the woman to the store and made the threatening remarks that prompted her to seek help from the store’s staff.
Following the incident, the victim requested assistance from the police, leading to the arrest of Esquivel. He is now facing multiple charges, including terroristic threats and evading arrest.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the matter to ensure the safety of the victim and prevent any further threats or harm.
