A 51-year-old man from Massachusetts, James McCormick, is set to be arraigned on Monday for the alleged murder of his brother on Memorial Day. The incident took place in Attleboro, where police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered the victim, identified as 47-year-old Richard McCormick from North Attleboro, with multiple stab wounds. Richard was rushed to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.

James McCormick was taken into custody on May 27 and was initially scheduled to appear in court for the murder charge last Friday. However, the arraignment was postponed due to a medical issue. He is now expected to face the charges in Attleboro District Court on Monday. It is unclear at this time whether he has legal representation.
