PORTLAND, Ore. — A 25-year-old man, Ra Fet, is facing a slew of charges after allegedly kidnapping a 47-year-old woman in Portland, Oregon, in the early hours of Friday, according to police reports.
The incident unfolded around 1:40 a.m. when Fet reportedly offered the woman a ride home after spotting her near SE 146th and Division. However, when they reached SE 112th, the woman attempted to exit the vehicle, but Fet allegedly prevented her from leaving and sped off.
During the ordeal, the woman engaged in a physical altercation with Fet, who allegedly struck her in the face. Despite this, the woman managed to jump out of the moving car and flee on foot. She was later found by officers hiding in a driveway, suffering from cuts and bruises.
About 40 minutes after the initial incident, police located Fet’s vehicle and arrested him. He was subsequently booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of kidnapping, sex abuse, coercion, menacing, assault, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment.
