Ra Fet : Oregon Woman Escapes Alleged Abduction by Jumping from Car

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 25-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly kidnapping a 47-year-old woman in Portland, Oregon, in the early hours of Friday, according to the police.

The incident unfolded around 1:40 a.m. when the man encountered the woman near SE 146th and Division and offered her a lift home. However, things took a dark turn when they reached SE 112th, and the woman attempted to exit the vehicle. The driver, later identified as Ra Fet, reportedly accelerated and prevented her from leaving.

During the course of the drive, a scuffle ensued between the woman and Fet, resulting in the latter allegedly striking her in the face. Despite the ordeal, the woman managed to bravely leap out of the moving car and flee on foot.

Following the woman’s escape, she sought refuge and aid, eventually being discovered hiding in a nearby driveway with visible cuts and bruises. Law enforcement officers swiftly intervened, locating Fet’s vehicle approximately 40 minutes later and apprehending him. Subsequently, Fet was taken into custody and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges including kidnapping, sex abuse, coercion, menacing, assault, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment.
