CHICAGO (CBS) — A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged for allegedly robbing a woman on a CTA platform in the Loop just minutes after committing a burglary in Lincoln Park last month.

According to Chicago police, the teenager was apprehended on Friday by members of the Bureau of Counter Terrorism Mass Transit Team in the 1400 block of West 63rd Street. He is facing one felony count of robbery and one felony count of burglary.

The young offender was identified as the individual who, on May 24, around 5 p.m., forcibly took property from a 56-year-old woman on a CTA platform in the 300 block of South Plymouth Court. Additionally, he has been linked to a burglary that occurred in the 2100 block of North Seminary Avenue just 20 minutes prior.

Following his arrest, the 15-year-old was taken into custody and charged accordingly, as confirmed by the police. No further details were immediately available regarding the case.
