Accident – Death – Obituary News :

In a dramatic turn of events, 37-year-old Timothy Strawter found himself in hot water with law enforcement after attempting to evade Seminole County deputies. The chase came to an end in Deltona, where Volusia County Sheriff’s Office (VSO) deputies took charge of the situation.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office alerted VSO about Strawter’s escapade as he crossed county lines. Strawter opted to abandon his vehicle on a dirt path near Howland Boulevard, prompting a massive search operation involving K-9 units and SCSO’s Alert One helicopter.

Following a swift aerial pursuit, Strawter was spotted by Alert One making a dash into a backyard on Howland. Despite the suspect’s attempt to hide, deputies engaged with the uncooperative residents of the property and initiated calls for Strawter to surrender.

After a tense standoff, Strawter eventually gave himself up without any further resistance. A subsequent search of his vehicle revealed a staggering 31 grams of cocaine and a stolen handgun from Seminole County. Consequently, Strawter faced charges including armed trafficking of cocaine, possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, and grand theft of a firearm.

In a shocking revelation, it was discovered that Strawter was also wanted in Georgia for violating probation related to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Additionally, he had two outstanding warrants in Seminole County for driving with a suspended license and tampering with an electronic monitoring device.

Presently, Strawter is incarcerated at the Volusia County Branch Jail without bond, awaiting further legal proceedings. Authorities have indicated that additional charges from Seminole County are imminent.
