A former deputy from Lafourche Parish, identified as Gabe Carl Leblanc, aged 43, was apprehended on Friday (May 31) by Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit on charges related to the production of child pornography involving juveniles.
According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO), Leblanc was terminated from his position on March 31.
He has been detained at the Lafourche Parish Jail with a bail set at £200,000.
