– Dodge Center Woman Injured Crash at Intersection Highway.
Accident – Death – Obituary News : Byron, MN (KROC-AM News) – A young woman was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Byron this afternoon.
The State Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 1:20 PM on the western edge of Byron at the intersection of the highway and 280th Avenue. The collision involved 20-year-old Jaedyn Buenvenida of Dodge Center, who was driving south on 280th Avenue when her vehicle collided with a pickup traveling west on Highway 14.
Mayo Clinic Ambulance responded to the scene and transported Buenvenida, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the accident. The driver of the pickup was identified as 24-year-old Gavin Waltz of Owatonna, with his 23-year-old passenger escaping unharmed.
According to the State Patrol, all three individuals involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.
