Accident – Death – Obituary News : Police in Uganda have arrested a taxi driver, identified as Joel Ssenyonga, after a woman died in his house under suspicious circumstances. The cab operator reportedly approached the woman, who convinced her to go to his house. However, things took a tragic turn when the woman became unconscious during their time together and passed away shortly after.

Ssenyonga was detained by the authorities after they learned that he had planned to dispose of the woman’s body with the help of a friend. The friend, however, tipped off the police, leading to Ssenyonga’s arrest. The taxi driver is now facing a murder charge as investigations into the incident continue.

According to reports, the woman died while in the custody of Ssenyonga at his home in the Mabaale zone. The taxi driver claimed that the woman became unconscious during intercourse and all his efforts to revive her failed. In a desperate attempt to cover up the incident, Ssenyonga called his friend for help in disposing of the body, but the friend alerted the authorities instead.

Neighbors of Ssenyonga revealed to the police that he had been frequently bringing different women to his house. The suspect is currently being held at the Kasana Police Station pending further investigations into the case.

This incident is not the first of its kind in Uganda. Recently, there was a similar case where a man died while in his girlfriend’s house in Kilifi. The man, identified as Bernard Omayo, visited his girlfriend Cecilia Chepkirui when tragedy struck. Omayo choked on saliva and died while being rushed to the hospital.

The police visited the scene and conducted a thorough investigation into the matter. Omayo’s body was taken to the Kilifi County Hospital morgue for an autopsy. These incidents serve as a reminder of the dangers that can arise from casual encounters and the importance of exercising caution in such situations.

As the investigation into the death of the woman in Ssenyonga’s house continues, the authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future..
