Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A Thai man, who posed as a Hong Kong tourist, is on the run after allegedly murdering his boyfriend at a condominium in Nonthaburi province near Bangkok. The suspect has fled from Pattaya to Hua Hin, with authorities believing he is heading towards Surat Thani.

The unidentified suspect is the prime suspect in the murder of 54-year-old Paisaen Thong-on. Paisaen was found dead with multiple stab wounds on May 26, after being seen entering the condo with the suspect.

The suspect attempted to conceal his identity by wearing a hoodie and face mask, using Paisaen’s ID card and fake IDs for financial transactions. He took gold bars worth 1 million baht and sold Paisaen’s mobile phone at MBK shopping mall in Bangkok, claiming he had undergone facial surgery to look different from the ID card photo.

The suspect was tracked fleeing from Bangkok to Pattaya and then taking a taxi to Hua Hin on May 28. The taxi driver, Paiwan, mentioned that the suspect spoke English, claiming to be a tourist from Hong Kong and offering 4,000 baht for the trip to Hua Hin.

Upon arriving at Hua Hin Night Market with another taxi driver named Rat, the suspect showed no suspicious behavior and spoke in English. Hua Hin Police Station Superintendent Kampanart Nawichai reported that the suspect is likely heading to Surat Thani, with authorities there on alert.

Despite the alert, there is no record of the suspect buying a ticket to Surat Thani at the Hua Hin Bus Terminal, leading to suspicions that he used a fake ID to book his trip and evade tracking.

Update: Murder Suspect Escapes Arrest in Pattaya

The murder suspect, believed to be hiding in Pattaya, narrowly escaped arrest on May 29. The victim, Paisarn Thong-on, was found dead with over 10 stab wounds in his condo in Nonthaburi on May 26.

The suspect absconded from the condo with Paisarn’s valuables and stayed at the Centara Grand Hotel in Bangkok before acquiring gold bars valued at over 1 million baht. He then changed his appearance and traveled to Pattaya, where police tracked him to a hotel on Soi Pattaya 11 but failed to apprehend him.

Authorities suspect the suspect planned to flee to Cambodia, prompting border checkpoints in Chon Buri, Trat, and Sa Kaeo to monitor his possible entry.

Meanwhile, a mobile phone shop at MBK reported a man in a dark blue shirt following the suspect, believed to be the victim’s spirit. Paisarn’s brother vowed not to hold a cremation ceremony until the murderer is caught, believing his brother’s spirit is seeking justice.
