UP: Baby’s Body Exhumed Following Parents’ Request

Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh): In a tragic turn of events, the body of a seven-month-old infant was exhumed by the Sitapur police on Thursday to determine the cause of death. The incident, which occurred under mysterious circumstances on May 22, has left the family in shock.

The infant, identified as Arhaan, was allegedly murdered by his aunt, as claimed by the mother, Kaiser Jahan.

Following the child’s untimely death, he was buried on May 23.

Upon the Magistrate’s orders, Arhaan’s body was exhumed after seven days and sent for a post-mortem examination to shed light on the circumstances surrounding his passing.

According to the police report, on the fateful day of May 22, the victim’s mother was asleep in her room while her son was in the care of her sister-in-law.

Tragically, the next morning, the mother discovered her son lifeless. Rushed to the hospital, the doctors pronounced him dead.

Devastated by the loss, the mother, in a state of shock, laid her son to rest.

Upon her husband Saleem’s return, she recounted the harrowing ordeal, prompting the couple to seek a post-mortem examination to uncover the cause of their son’s sudden demise.
