In a recent incident near Ft. Lowell and Palo Verde Road in Tucson, Arizona, Tucson Police officers apprehended a man named Abel Polin after conducting a field interview. The arrest took place on Tuesday night, May 28.

During the interaction, officers discovered that Polin had an active felony warrant for his arrest and was also a prohibited possessor. Moreover, they noticed a weapon protruding from one of his pockets.

Upon further investigation, law enforcement officials found over 800 suspected fentanyl pills and more than 7 grams of methamphetamine in Polin’s possession. Additionally, they uncovered that the 9mm pistol carried by Polin was loaded.

As a result of these findings, Polin was charged with being a prohibited possessor, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and his existing felony warrant. Currently, he is being held without bond at the Pima County Jail.
