Blaylock, who was expecting his first child, was electrocuted while trimming the tree with a chainsaw when he accidentally hit a power line.
Family’s Heartbreaking Loss
His family shared with PEOPLE that Blaylock and his girlfriend Alyssa had recently announced on Facebook that they were expecting a baby girl later this year. The news of his passing has left his loved ones devastated, with his family describing him as a hard-working man with a bright future ahead of him.
Authorities from the Arlington Police Department confirmed that there is no evidence of a criminal offense in relation to the incident, stating that it was a tragic accident. Firefighters had to work carefully to retrieve Blaylock’s body while keeping his family members at a safe distance.
