Danaisa Xiane Matthews : “Manassas & Woodbridge Stabbing Incidents Investigated”

During the evening of May 24, police responded to a residence in the 8500 block of Charnwood Court near Manassas following a report of a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a 22-year-old man had been stabbed in the leg following a verbal altercation with an acquaintance, identified as Danaisa Xiane Matthews. Matthews allegedly fled the scene after the incident, leaving the victim in need of medical attention at a local hospital. Police have issued arrest warrants for Matthews, who remains at large.

In the early hours of May 25, officers were called to the 14400 block of Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge to investigate an assault that took place earlier that morning. A 28-year-old man was walking when he was attacked by two unidentified men, one of whom wielded a wooden baseball bat, striking the victim multiple times. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital. The suspects, described as black males, fled the scene before police arrived.

Late on May 24, police responded to an assault at the Bayvue Apartments in the 1300 block of East Longview Drive in Woodbridge. A 53-year-old man was slashed with a knife by an unknown male assailant during an altercation on the back porch. The victim received minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Despite a search by officers and a police K-9 unit, the suspects, a Hispanic male and a woman, evaded capture.

Authorities are actively investigating these incidents and urge anyone with information to come forward and assist in the ongoing inquiries.
