Accident – Death – Obituary News : An 81-year-old man from California has been apprehended by authorities for a string of incidents involving a slingshot and ball bearings, which led to damage to windows, windshields, and even endangering individuals, as per reports by the Azusa Police Department.
The individual in question, Prince Raymond King, was taken into custody during a search warrant conducted in his local area on May 23. Law enforcement officers discovered ball bearings and a slingshot at King’s residence during the search, signalling a potential link to the reported incidents.
The search warrant was carried out in response to concerns about the impact on the community’s quality of life, as stated in the Azusa Police Department’s official Facebook post. Following an extensive investigation, it was determined that over a period of 9-10 years, a number of citizens had fallen victim to what was described as a “serial slingshot shooter.”
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of King’s alleged actions, confirmed Azusa police Lt. Jake Bushey in a statement to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
The Azusa Police Department has been actively looking into these slingshot incidents for several years, but until now, no suspect had been identified. The breakthrough in the case that led to King’s arrest remains undisclosed, although it was revealed that most of the ball bearings were launched from his backyard.
