BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Battle Creek Police have officially named the victim of a tragic shooting incident that occurred early Saturday morning at the Teal Run apartment complex on Horizon Drive.
The individual who lost his life in this senseless act of violence has been identified as 21-year-old Tyshaan Williams, a resident of Battle Creek.
Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 5:40 a.m. last Saturday and upon arrival at the scene, discovered Williams inside his apartment with multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite the efforts of first responders to save his life, Williams was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is currently under investigation by local law enforcement, who are urging anyone with potentially valuable information to come forward.
