The officer in charge approached the vehicle and identified the driver as a 27-year-old man from Jackson. A quick computer check revealed that the driver’s operator’s license was suspended, leading to the issuance of a misdemeanor violation for driving with a suspended license. The case was promptly closed with the issuance of the misdemeanor traffic violation.

Despite the officers’ requests, the driver refused to comply with field sobriety tests. Consequently, the suspect was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol.
