Subham Mithila : “Thane Teen Drives BMW with Man on Bonnet: Arrested”

Following the tragic Pune Porsche car crash that claimed the lives of two IT professionals, another shocking incident has come to light in Kalyan. A 17-year-old boy was caught driving a BMW car without a licence on busy streets with a man lying on its bonnet, causing a stir on social media.

As videos of the reckless stunt went viral, the police took action and arrested the man lying on the car bonnet, identified as Subham Mithila. They also booked the teenage driver and his father, a retired government official who owns the BMW.

The incident took place on Saturday in the bustling Shivaji Chowk area of Kalyan city in Thane district. Senior police inspector Suresh Gund revealed that the teenager’s reckless behaviour was inspired by social media videos, leading his father to purchase the second-hand BMW for Rs 5 lakh. Shockingly, the teenager drove the car without possessing a valid driving licence.

The car owner has been issued a notice in connection with the incident. This incident comes shortly after the tragic accident in Pune, where two IT professionals lost their lives after being hit by a speeding Porsche allegedly driven by a minor boy in Kalyani Nagar area. The police suspect that the teenager was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
