Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A 26-year-old man, identified as Jared Ravizza, allegedly stabbed four girls at an AMC theater in Massachusetts on Saturday. The mother of three of the victims, Lisa Dembowski, revealed in an interview with CBS affiliate WBZ-TV that the attacker was “laughing the whole time” during the horrifying incident.

The victims had just sat down with their concessions when Ravizza allegedly approached them from behind. Dembowski recounted the chilling moment when her daughters and their friend were attacked in the second row of the auditorium. The assailant targeted each girl, causing injuries to their back, chest, and arm. The attacker then stabbed their friend before fleeing the scene.

Identifying the Suspect

Jared Ravizza, a resident of Chilmark on Martha’s Vineyard, is reported to be the CEO of his own marketing firm. He was apprehended by authorities following the attack. Despite the harrowing ordeal, the four AMC victims are expected to make a full recovery from their injuries.

According to reports, the attacker was described as wearing an oversized trench coat, sunglasses, and a long blonde wig. It remains unclear whether the blond hair was natural or part of a disguise.

Series of Attacks

Ravizza is accused of carrying out a string of attacks over the weekend. He was taken into custody after crashing a Porsche while attempting to evade police. Prior to this, he allegedly stopped at a McDonald’s drive-thru, where he assaulted two employees. The victims were promptly taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Police have indicated a likely connection between the incident at the movie theatre in Braintree and the subsequent attacks. Ravizza is expected to face charges related to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for the Plymouth incidents.

Legal Proceedings

Ravizza’s arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, as reported by the Vineyard Gazette. Furthermore, there are indications that he may be linked to a murder case in Deep River, Connecticut. Dembowski, who works as a guidance counselor, expressed her desire for the perpetrator to be held accountable for his actions.

She emphasised the impact of the traumatic event on her children, noting that they are now fearful of attending movies. Despite the resilience of children, she highlighted the lasting effects of such a terrifying experience.
