Dr Ajay Taware : Dr Ajay Taware Arrested for Blood Sample Switch in Pune Porsche Case: Warning Issued

Dr Ajay Taware and Dr Shrihari Haalnor, both from Pune’s Sassoon Hospital, have been arrested for allegedly tampering with blood samples of the minor boy involved in the Pune Porsche crash case. Dr Taware has issued a warning stating that he will expose everyone involved and will not remain silent.

On Monday, a court remanded the two doctors and an employee of Sassoon General Hospital, Atul Ghatkamble, in police custody until May 30 in connection with the Porsche crash case. The police presented them in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (Small Causes) A A Pande and requested their custody for 10 days.

Dr Taware and Dr Haalnor were arrested on Monday for allegedly altering blood samples and destroying evidence in the case. The police suspect financial transactions were involved in changing the blood samples and requested permission to search the homes of the accused. The court granted custody of the three individuals until May 30.

Pune Porsche Accident Case

The tragic incident occurred when a speeding Porsche car, allegedly driven by a 17-year-old minor, son of real estate businessman Vishal Agarwal, collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the deaths of two IT professionals on May 19. The police have reported that the teenager was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

During a press conference, Pune Police Commissioner Ameetesh Kumar revealed that the juvenile’s blood samples were disposed of and replaced with samples from another individual. “CMO Srihari Haalnor carried out this substitution under the direction of HOD Forensic Medicine Department of Sassoon, Ajay Tawre,” stated Commissioner Kumar.
