LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR)– The Lynchburg Police Department has confirmed the tragic death of a Woodbridge woman following a motorcycle crash at Central Virginia Community College on Sunday, May 26.
Officials from the police department were alerted to the incident at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, responding swiftly to reports of a motorcycle accident in the campus parking lot of CVCC. Upon arrival, officers and medics from the Lynchburg Fire Department discovered an adult female, identified as 53-year-old Marnie Monique Lacy of Woodbridge, suffering from severe injuries.
Despite the immediate medical attention provided, Lacy was subsequently transferred to Lynchburg General Hospital, where she tragically passed away due to the extent of her injuries.
