Accident – Death – Obituary News : Days after the tragic Pune Porsche crash incident, a 64-year-old man lost his life in a heart-wrenching hit-and-run accident in Maharashtra’s Amravati. The incident, which occurred over 20 days ago, was captured on a CCTV camera installed in a nearby house.
In the distressing footage, the victim, identified as Bhimsen, was riding his bike when a speeding car collided with him at a crossroad. The impact of the crash threw Bhimsen off his bike and onto the road. Three individuals from the car quickly exited to assess the situation before callously driving away, leaving Bhimsen lying on the road unaided.
Despite several passersby on bikes, no one stopped to help Bhimsen, who was eventually rushed to the hospital. Tragically, after 12 days of medical treatment, Bhimsen succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the car and the passengers accompanying them are currently evading authorities. A case has been registered, and a reward of Rs 20,000 has been announced for any information leading to the identification of the culprits.
DCP Sagar Patil, speaking to India Today, urged the public to come forward with any information that could assist in apprehending the suspects. Three police teams have been assembled to investigate the matter thoroughly.
