Accident – Death – Obituary News :

HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. — A deputy patrolling I-20 in Haralson County recently made a significant arrest after observing a driver engaging in dangerous driving behavior. The deputy noticed the driver tailgating a tractor-trailer before abruptly changing lanes and weaving through traffic.

The driver, later identified as 27-year-old Bryan Shaque Steele from Greenville, Alabama, was pulled over by the deputy for his erratic driving.

Despite the deputy’s instructions, Steele refused to exit his vehicle. The deputy took matters into his own hands by unlocking the car, opening the door, and physically removing Steele from the vehicle.

During the arrest for obstruction, Steele made statements that raised suspicions about the contents of his car. A search revealed two firearms concealed under the driver’s seat, with one of the guns reported stolen from Louisiana.

In addition to the weapons, law enforcement discovered seven bags of MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, weighing a total of 232 grams. This quantity of the controlled substance meets the threshold for trafficking charges.

As a result of the findings, Steele now faces multiple charges, including trafficking MDMA, obstruction, illegal possession of firearms, and various traffic violations.

He is currently being held in the Haralson County Jail awaiting further legal proceedings.

This incident serves as a reminder of the dangers posed by reckless driving and the importance of law enforcement vigilance in maintaining public safety.
