Undertaking an undercover operation, deputies and officers posed as a 16-year-old girl and engaged with the individual behind the advertisements. The suspect, later identified as 48-year-old Robert Owens, allegedly solicited sex acts and arranged to meet the decoy for sexual intercourse.
Owens was apprehended at the meeting location on suspicion of soliciting a minor for sex, marking a significant development in the case.
