Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident unfolded at the Tinau River in Hariyali Park, Tilottama Municipality-6, Rupandehi, as a 17-year-old teenager lost his life in a drowning accident on Saturday. The victim, identified as Dibyams Bhusal, hailing from Tilottama-5, Nayamil, Rupandehi, had gone to the river with his friends for a swim.
The unfortunate incident occurred around 8:30 am when Dibyams, accompanied by two friends, ventured into the waters for a leisurely swim. However, the outing took a devastating turn as the young boy found himself in distress and ultimately drowned in the river.
A search and rescue operation was promptly launched, with a team led by Senior Sub-Inspector (SSI) Dipendra Baniya from the Mangalapur Area Police Office mobilized to locate Dibyams’ body in the turbulent waters of the Tinau River.
The community is reeling from the loss of a promising young life, with friends and family grappling with the sudden tragedy.
