FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 32-year-old man from Fresno has been taken into custody by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly attempting to meet with a child for sexual purposes.
According to authorities, members of the Central Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force apprehended the suspect, identified as 32-year-old Brock Sanders, who had an active warrant for contacting a minor for sexual reasons.
The investigation is ongoing to determine whether Sanders was able to successfully meet with the minor in question.
Law enforcement officials stated that during the arrest, they confiscated one of Sanders’ electronic devices, which contained disturbing digital images and videos of child sexual abuse material.
Despite being taken into custody, Sanders has been released from jail after posting bail.
